2017 SHUKC Player of the Week (Week 3)

The numbers keep rolling in and the requirements to land on top of the SHUKC Player of the Week board keeping rising.

Logan Talley a week after catching 10 passes for 139 yards and a TD he exploded for another 9 catches 194 yards and 3 TD’s against Blue Valley Southwest.  The junior wide out has 25 receptions for 420 yards and 5 TD’s.

Ivan Webb kept up his great start to the 2017 season with 31 carries 277 yards and 3 TD’s.  We can start the 2000 yard week to week watch party on this young man as he now has 856 in 3 games which is pacing him at 2500 yards this season.  Could be dinner time for Webb over the next few weeks but the question will be how many carries he will get if the games get out of hand.

SHUKC Player of the Week:

It seems crazy to think that the two performances above are not good enough but SHUKC POY nominee last year is off to a magnificent start of his own in 2017.  Brody Flaming of Mill Valley went 19 of 30 for 410 yards 6 TD’s and 2 INT’s, 12 carries for 72 yards and another score.  482 total yards and 7 TD’s is impressive to say the least.  Once I get some highlights of the senior who has posted back to back 400 yards passing days I will share.  Congrats Brody!

Week 1: Ivan Webb (Schlagle)

Week 2: Jaylin Richardson (Turner)

Week 3: Brody Flaming (Mill Valley)
