Ivan Webb was at it again last night in a signature win against the Atchison Redmen who have won the last 3 league titles. Webb logged 277 yards, 3 TD’s and 10 receiving yards. Webb now is over 850 yards for the season with 8 TD’s and has likely played his toughest two opponents in consecutive weeks until the playoffs come around.
I was watching last night and his style reminds me of Le’Veon Bell for the Steelers as there are a good number of the plays you see where he doesn’t just slam into a hole. Sometimes it looks awkward but his vision is very good and just count the broken tackles. The only critique I would give him at the moment is finishing off long runs with one last cut. His team is doing a good job blocking down field and with just one last moment of patience he will score TD’s. Its like Webb is a combination of J’Veyon Browning and Neil Ruff. Very fun to watch.
