SHUKC Player Spotlight: Dalton Trimble (Tonganoxie)

by David Brox, davidbrox@shukc.com

Tonganoxie has been a pleasant surprise at 3-3 heading into district play this week against rival Atchison.  We have talked a lot about the emergence of some younger players but there has been senior leadership on this team that should be talked about.  I attended the Tonganoxie vs Turner game this year and it was #31 Dalton Trimble who stole the show helping Tonganoxie jump out to that huge first half lead.

Trimble stands 6’1 and 156 lbs plays CB and WR for the Chieftains and has been solid on both sides of the ball.  He leads the team with 12 receptions 237 yards and a TD.  As a CB he has 18 tackles, 4 PD’s along with the key INT returned for TD against Turner.

Check out highlights for Dalton in the first 6 games.
