SHUKC Player Spotlight: Juwan Peace (Lansing)

by David Brox,

Senior Juwan Peace of Lansing put together a solid senior season for the Lions.  Peace collected 84 tackles and 3 sacks playing DE for the district champions.  Peace shows a lot of strength and quickness.  The lateral movement to the ball is good.  At 5’10 210 pounds I don’t know that he would project to be a defensive end in college but again enough quickness to play LB.  In the highlight I like his ability to split double teams and fill a gaps along with the ability to spin back around and collect tackles.  84 tackles on the defensive line is a lot and it helped earn him KVL second team honors.

Check out Peace’s senior highlights.
