Underclassmen don’t typically make All SHUKC teams. We had a couple this year stand out and make the team including Nolan Ford of Basehor-Linwood. Basehor-Linwood who finished 12-1 did so in large part to their defense. You talk about TJ Williams who was a finalist for the Bobby Bell award and D1 prospect Eric Scott but Ford stood out for his ability to disrupt plays in the backfield and get sacks on the QB. Twice he was able to wrap up Carter Putz at Miege and that was not an easy task this year. Ford will be a player to keep an eye on the next few seasons. Continued development in speed and agility will make him a contender for some awards of his own.
